Victorian Numbered Regulations Victorian Numbered RegulationsA person who has lit, kindled, maintained or used a fire, or who has been left in charge of a fire, in a temporary structure in a fire protected area during the prohibited period must, before leaving the place of the fire—
(a) completely extinguish the fire; or
(b) ensure that a person who has the capacity and means to extinguish the fire is in charge of the fire.
Penalty: 50 penalty units.
