staff of the Office of Police Integrity authorised to use firearms immediately
before the commencement of section 16 of the Independent Broad-based
Anti-corruption Commission Amendment (Investigative Functions) Act 2012 , an
appropriate course of training within the meaning of section 103(2A) of the
Police Integrity Act 2008 as in force immediately before its repeal is
taken to be a prescribed course of training.
