ROAD SAFETY (TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) REGULATIONS 2009 (SR NO 129 OF 2009) - REG 20

Maintenance of traffic control devices

    (1)     A person who erects, displays or places a traffic control device under this Part may maintain that device.

    (2)     A person who has erected, displayed or placed a traffic control device in accordance with the Road Safety (Traffic) Regulations 1988 [1] or the Road Safety (Road Rules) Regulations 1999 [2] may maintain that device.

    (3)     In this regulation, "maintain" includes replace a traffic sign with a traffic sign having the same effect.
