Victorian Numbered Regulations Victorian Numbered Regulations(1) This rule applies to a driver who parks on a length of road, or in an area, to which a permissive parking sign applies if information on or with the sign indicates that a fee is payable for parking by buying a ticket or putting money into a parking meter.

(2) The driver must—
(a) pay the fee (if any); and
(b) obey any instructions on or with the sign, meter, ticket or ticket-vending machine.
Penalty: 2 penalty units.
