Offence to possess or display Aboriginal skeletal remains

26B. Offence to possess or display Aboriginal skeletal remains



(1) A person who without the consent in writing of the Secretary or in
contravention of any conditions attaching to such consent possesses, displays
or has under his control any Aboriginal skeletal remains shall be guilty of an
offence against this Act.

(2) A consent given under sub-section (1) may be subject to such conditions as
the Secretary thinks fit.
