Meetings

6. Meetings



(1) The chairman shall preside at all meetings at which he is present.

(2) In the absence of the chairman at any meeting the deputy chairman shall
preside.

(3) In the absence of both the chairman and the deputy chairman at any meeting
the members present shall elect one of their number to act as chairman of the
meeting.

(4) At a meeting the quorum shall be six members.

(5) The decision of the Advisory Committee on any matter shall be the decision
of the majority of the members present, and in the event of an equality of
votes the chairman of the meeting shall have a second or casting vote.

(6) Subject to this Act the Advisory Committee may regulate its own
proceedings.

(7) A member of the Advisory Committee who is not an employee in the public
service shall be entitled to such fees, allowances and expenses as are fixed
from time to time by the Governor in Council.
