Procedure at meetings10. Procedure at meetings (1) The chairperson of an Advisory Committee must preside at a meeting of the committee at which he or she is present. (2) If the chairperson is absent from a meeting of an Advisory Committee, a person elected by the members present must preside at the meeting. (3) A quorum of an Advisory Committee consists of a majority of the members of the Advisory Committee for the time being. (4) At a meeting of an Advisory Committee, a decision of the committee is a decision of the majority of the members present and voting at the meeting and, if voting is equal, the person presiding at the meeting has a second or casting vote. (5) Subject to this Act, an Advisory Committee may regulate its own proceedings.
