1. General Information
The Motor Car Traders Regulations 1998, S.R. No. 56/1998 were made on 26 May 1998 by the Lieutenant-Governor with the advice of the Executive Council under section 90 of the Motor Car Traders Act 1986, No. 104/1986 and came into operation as follows:
All of Regulations (except regulation 22(4)) on 22 June 1998: regulation 3(1); regulation 22(4) on 1 July 1998: regulation 3(2).
The Motor Car Traders Regulations 1998 will sunset on 25 May 2009: see the Subordinate Legislation (Motor Car Traders Regulations 1998 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2008, S.R. No. 35/2008.
