BAIL ACT 1982 - SECT 59B

59B .         Absconding accused, warrant for arrest of

                Where —

            (a)         at any time after that specified in an accused’s bail undertaking for an accused’s appearance the accused has failed to comply with the requirements of the accused’s bail undertaking mentioned in section 28(2)(a) or (b); or

            (b)         an accused has failed to appear at the time and place specified in a notice under section 13A(3),

                the court before which the accused was required to appear may issue a warrant to arrest the accused and bring the accused before that court or a court of like jurisdiction.
