(1) A police officer
responsible for a controlled operation for which an authority has been given
must —
(a) at
least once every 6 months while the authority is in force; and
(b) as
soon as is reasonably practicable after the authority is cancelled,
give a report to the
Commissioner of Police setting out the particulars required by subsection (2).
(2) The report must
include the following particulars —
(a) the
nature of the criminal activities against which the controlled operation was
directed;
(b) the
nature of the controlled activities engaged in for the purposes of the
controlled operation.
(3) A police officer
to whom an authority to conduct an integrity testing programme has been given
must —
(a) at
least once every 6 months while the authority is in force; and
(b) as
soon as is reasonably practicable after the authority is cancelled,
give a report to the
Commissioner of Police setting out a general description of the activities
undertaken by the police officer under the authority.
(4) The Commissioner
of Police is to give a copy of the report to the Commission as soon as is
reasonably practicable after the Commissioner of Police is given the report.
