(1) An authorised
person may, for the purposes of a special inquiry, enter and inspect any
place.
(2) The power of entry
conferred by subsection (1) may only be exercised —
(a) with
the consent of the owner or occupier of the place; or
(b)
under the authority of a warrant issued under section 38.
(3) Entry under this
section may be made with any assistants or equipment that the authorised
person considers necessary.
(4) A person who
enters or who has entered any place under this section must give particulars
of the purpose of, and the authority for, that entry on being requested to do
so.
