(1) This Part applies
to and in respect of the following authorities —
(a) the
Public Service of the State; and
(b) The
Western Australian Government Railways Commission 7 ; and
(c) each
of the bodies established by the Electricity Corporations Act 2005
section 4(1); and
(d)
every public authority within the meaning of subsection (3); and
(e) such
authorities, bodies, persons, or groups of persons as the Governor may by
regulation declare to be authorities for the purposes of this Part.
(2) Notwithstanding
subsection (1), the Governor may by regulation declare that a person, group of
persons, authority or body which would otherwise be an authority for the
purposes of this Part shall not be an authority for the purposes of this Part.
(3) In subsection
(1)(d), public authority means State trading concern, State instrumentality,
State agency, or any public statutory body, corporate or unincorporate
established by or under a law of the State.
