Western Australian Current Acts Western Australian Current Acts (1) A person who
contravenes a provision of this Act commits an offence.
(2) A person who
commits an offence against this Act is except where otherwise specified liable
—
(a)
where the offence is a first offence, to a penalty not exceeding $5 000 and to
a penalty of $1 000 for each day that the offence continues;
(b)
where the offence is a second or subsequent offence, to a penalty not
exceeding $10 000 or imprisonment for 2 years or both.
