(1) The local
government may refuse to register or to renew the registration of any house or
premises used for an offensive trade unless constructed and maintained in
accordance with its local laws.
(2) Without limiting
section 36, that section applies to any decision of the local government to
grant or renew the registration or to refuse to grant or renew the
registration.
