(1) No matter or thing
done, and no contract entered into, by or on behalf of the CEO, the Chief
Health Officer or the local government, and no matter or thing done by any
officer or other person acting under the direction of the CEO, the Chief
Health Officer or of the local government, shall, if the matter or thing was
done or the contract was entered into bona fide for the purpose of executing
this Act, subject the CEO, the Chief Health Officer or local government or any
member thereof respectively, or any such officer or person to any personal
liability in respect thereof.
(2) Any expense
incurred by any member, officer, or other person acting as last aforesaid
shall be deemed to be an expense authorised by this Act.
