MISUSE OF DRUGS ACT 1981 - SECT 20S

20S .         Exercise of powers under Division

        (1)         Except as provided in subsection (2), the powers under this Division may be exercised in relation to a person or vehicle that is in a public place in a BSA.

        (2)         The powers under this Division cannot be exercised in relation to a person participating in, or a vehicle being used primarily for, any of the following —

            (a)         industrial action;

            (b)         a political protest or demonstration;

            (c)         a religious or cultural activity;

            (d)         an educational activity;

            (e)         the seeking or provision of medical or emergency services;

            (f)         an activity prescribed by the regulations.
