(1) Subject to
subsections (2) and (3), the application must be made at least 30 days before
the day on which the licence is to expire.
Note:
If an application for
extension of a licence is made, the expiry of the licence is postponed (see
section 93). For expiry of a licence see section 126.
(2) The Minister may
accept an application that is made later than 30 days before the day on which
the licence is to expire if —
(a) the
application is made before the day on which the licence expires; and
(b) the
Minister believes that there are reasonable grounds for accepting the
application.
(3) If a licence
remains in force because of section 93(e)(ii), the application may be made at
any time before the licence ceases to be in force.
