OIL REFINERY (KWINANA) AGREEMENT ACT 1952 - SECT 6

6 .         Authority to purchase and sell electricity undertaking

        (1)         To facilitate the carrying out of the provisions of the Agreement, and to enable the State to carry out its obligations under the Agreement, the State Electricity Commission ⁵ of Western Australia may purchase from The Fremantle Municipal Tramways and Electric Lighting Board ⁶ , which may sell to the Commission, upon such terms and conditions as the Commission and the Board agree, the electricity undertaking controlled and managed by the Board under the provisions of the Fremantle Municipal Tramways and Electric Lighting Act 1903 ⁷ .

        (2)         In this section, the expression Undertaking has the same meaning as in paragraph (b) of the interpretation undertaking in section 7 of the State Electricity Commission Act 1945 ⁸ .
