A person must comply
with a requirement under section 240 to provide information or answer
questions, or to produce any document or thing, despite the provisions of any
other written law, and —
(a) no
civil or criminal liability is incurred as a result of that compliance; and
(b)
complying with the direction is not to be regarded as —
(i)
a breach of any duty of confidentiality or secrecy
imposed by law; or
(ii)
a breach of professional ethics or standards or any
principles of conduct applicable to the person’s employment; or
(iii)
unprofessional conduct.
