Where a contract for
the sale of land is made as a result of a contravention of section 18, the
purchaser of the land under the contract may, by notice in writing served on
the vendor of the land under the contract within 14 days after the date of the
making of the contract, rescind the contract and thereupon may, in a court of
competent jurisdiction, recover from that vendor all moneys paid under the
contract.
