resolution or direction of the Synod or of any Committee appointed by it for
the purpose, the Trust may act in relation to the exchange, dedication or
compulsory acquisition of any property vested in it, may make claims for
compensation in respect thereof and may agree to and settle any such claims,
for such considerations, and on and subject to such terms and conditions, as
may appear advisable to it.
