A person must not give
information for the purposes of this Act that the person knows to be false or
misleading in a material particular to —
(a) a
person who employs, or proposes to employ, the person in child-related
employment; or
(b) the
CEO; or
(ba) an
authorised officer; or
(c) if
the person is a student, the person’s education provider.
Penalty: a fine of $24 000 and imprisonment for 2
years.
