Division —
approved automatic location communicator means an
automatic location communicator of a make, model or type approved in
accordance with regulation 55AA(1);
approved directions means directions approved in
accordance with regulation 55AA(3);
automatic location communicator or ALC
means —
(a) an
electronic device for receiving, recording, generating, responding to and
transmitting information, including information about the geographical
position of a boat; and
(b)
includes hardware, software or firmware that is capable of facilitating the
operation of that device;
licence holder means the holder of a fishing boat
licence.
