(1) The master of a
licensed fishing boat must cause to be kept on board the boat the following
documents, or legible copies of those documents —
(a) the
fishing boat licence; and
(b) the
commercial fishing licence of each member of the crew required to hold that
licence; and
(c) any
other authorisation relating to the boat or crew required to be held under the
Act.
Penalty: $1 000.
(2) Where the CEO
considers that it would be impractical to require a person to comply with
subregulation (1), the CEO may exempt that person in relation to a boat
or class of boats from that subregulation.
