After landing a water
skier, the driver of a speed boat that towed the skier shall continue to a
distance of not less than 60 m from the point of dropping such skier, where he
shall stop and retrieve the ski line and if coming to shore he shall then
drive the boat at a speed not exceeding 8 knots and in a manner so as not to
interfere with, or obstruct, any other boat towing a water skier.
