Western Australian Current Regulations Western Australian Current Regulations (1) A person must not
use or drive a tow truck or operate a vehicle as a tow truck unless the
vehicle licence for the tow truck or vehicle allows it to be used as a tow
truck.
(2) A person must not
use or drive a tow truck or operate a vehicle as a tow truck unless the tow
truck and the vehicle being towed comply with each regulation in this Division
that applies to the tow truck or the vehicle being towed.
Penalty applicable to subregulations (1)
and (2):
(a) for
a first offence, a fine of 2 PU;
(b) for
a second or subsequent offence, a fine of 4 PU.
