The registered medical
practitioner who prepares the health monitoring report must give a copy of the
health monitoring report to the regulator as soon as practicable after
preparing the report if the report contains —
(a) test
results that indicate that the worker has reached or exceeded the relevant
blood lead level for that person under regulation 415; or
(b) any
advice that test results indicate that the worker may have contracted a
disease, injury or illness as a result of carrying out the work that triggered
the requirement for health monitoring; or
(c) any
recommendation that the person conducting the business or undertaking take
remedial measures, including whether the worker can continue to carry out the
work that triggered the requirement for health monitoring.
Penalty:
(a) for
an individual, a fine of $7 000;
(b) for
a body corporate, a fine of $35 000.
