This legislation has been repealed.
Every medical
practitioner registered under this Act may, whilst so registered, sue in any
court of law of competent jurisdiction for the recovery of his fees or other
remuneration for professional services, whether medical or surgical; and no
person other than such registered medical practitioner shall be entitled to
sue or counterclaim for set-off or recover any charge or remuneration for any
medical or surgical advice, attendance, service, or operation, or for any
medicine which he shall have both prescribed and supplied.
