(1) The amount payable
for the hire of a crane is that calculated in accordance with Part IV of the
Second Schedule; and the minimum amount payable is that payable for a hiring
of 2 hours.
(2) Crane hire is
payable from the time for which the crane is ordered (if then available),
until the time that the officer of the Port Authority in charge of the crane
is advised that it is no longer required.
(3) Where a crane is
not used by the hirer at the time for which it is hired, the Port Authority
may permit some other person to take the hiring.
