NGĀTI HAUĀ CLAIMS SETTLEMENT ACT 2014 - SECT 44
Interpretation
44 Interpretation
In this subpart,—
"Conservation Board" means a board established under section 6L of the
Conservation Act 1987
"New Zealand Conservation Authority" means the Authority established by
section 6A of the Conservation Act 1987
"overlay area" — a) means the area that is declared under
section 45(1) to be subject to the overlay classification; but
b) does not
include an area that is declared under section 56(1) to be no longer subject
to the overlay classification
"overlay classification" means the application of this subpart to the
overlay area
"protection principles" means the principles set out for the overlay area in
part 5 of the documents schedule, or as those principles are amended under
section 47(3)
"specified actions" means the actions set out for the overlay area in part 5
of the documents schedule
"statement of values" means the statement— a) made by Ngāti
Hauā of their values relating to their cultural, historical, spiritual, and
traditional association with the overlay area; and
b) set out in part 5 of
the documents schedule.
