WET TROPICS MANAGEMENT PLAN 1998 - REG 61
Carrying capacity
(1) The authority must have regard to the carrying capacity of land in the
area that may be affected by the proposed activity.
(2) In subsection (1) —
"carrying capacity" of land, in relation to an activity, means the extent to
which the activity may be carried on before it has an adverse impact on— (a)
the world heritage values and integrity of the land that is unacceptable under
this plan; or
(b) the quality of experience enjoyed by visitors to the area.
