WATER AND OTHER LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2007 No. 57 - SECT 49

49 Insertion of new s 128JA

Part 6A, division 4--

insert--

'(1) A person must not tamper with a water meter.

Maximum penalty--165 penalty units.

'(2) In this section--

tamper, with a water meter, includes tamper with plumbing associated with the meter in a way that may hinder the capacity of the meter to accurately measure the volume of water supplied to premises.'.
