Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) Subject to subsection (2), the court must not make an order awarding costs against a person without giving that person a reasonable opportunity to be heard.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to an order for costs made on the hearing and determination of a charge in the absence of the accused in accordance with Division 10 of Part 3.3.
