LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 217

Acting appointment may be made by name or position

    (1)     The appointer may make an acting appointment by—

        (a)     naming the person appointed; or

        (b)     nominating the occupant of a position (however described), at a particular time or from time to time.

    (2)     For this division, the person named, or the occupant of the position nominated, is the appointee .
