COURT PROCEDURES RULES 2006 - REG 1177

Mediation—appointment of mediator

    (1)     A person can be a mediator if the person—

        (a)     is an accredited mediator; and

        (b)     is appointed by the court as a mediator.

    (2)     The

title="A2001-14">Legislation Act

, part 19.3 (Appointments) does not apply to the appointment of a mediator under this rule.

    (3)     In this rule:

"accredited mediator"—see the title="A2004-59">Act

, section 52A.
