COURT PROCEDURES RULES 2006 - REG 3900

Definitions—pt 3.13

In this part:

"arbitration" means arbitration under the title="A1951-2">Workers Compensation Act

.

"claim "includes a matter or question arising under the title="A1951-2">Workers Compensation Act

to be decided by arbitration.

"contractor"—see the title="A1951-2">Workers Compensation Act

, section 13 (Subcontracting).

"injury notice"—see the title="A1951-2">Workers Compensation Act

, section 123 (The notice for an injury).

"prescribed scale of costs" means the scale of costs in schedule 4 (Scale of costs).

"principal"—see the title="A1951-2">Workers Compensation Act

, section 13 (Subcontracting).

"representative", for a party to an arbitration, means a lawyer or other person who represents the party.

"third-party respondent"—see rule 3920 (Arbitration—including other parties).
