CORONERS ACT 1997 (NO. 57 OF 1997) - SECT 60

Coroner not to be called as witness

60. (1) A Coroner shall not be called to give evidence in a court or judicial proceedings about anything coming to his or her knowledge in exercising a power or performing a function or duty under this Act.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to proceedings against a Coroner for an offence.
