Commonwealth Numbered Acts Commonwealth Numbered Acts(1) If an entity makes an application or gives a notice or advice to the Secretary or Minister (the decision maker ) under a provision of Part 2 or 3, the decision maker may, by written notice given to the entity, require the entity to give the decision maker, within the period specified in the decision maker's notice, specified further information in relation to the entity's application, notice or advice.
(2) If the entity does not comply with a requirement under subsection (1) in relation to an application made by the entity to the decision maker under Part 2 or 3, the decision maker may, by written notice given to the entity:
(a) refuse to consider the application; or
(b) refuse to take any action, or any further action, in relation to the application.
(3) The entity must comply with a requirement under subsection (1) in relation to a notice or advice given by the entity to the decision maker under a provision of Part 2 or 3.
Civil penalty: 50 penalty units.
