LIFE INSURANCE AMENDMENT ACT 1977 No. 32 of 1977 - SECT 27

27. Section 108 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by inserting before the definition of ''Register of Deaths'' the following
definition:-

'' 'prescribed amount', in relation to a child, means $500 or such other
amount as is, under the regulations, applicable to the child for the purposes
of this Division;''; and

(b) by omitting from the definition of ''repayment of premiums'' the words
''at a rate not exceeding 4 per centum per annum'' and substituting the words
''at a rate not exceeding 8 per centum per annum or such other rate as is
prescribed for the purposes of this definition''.
