1996 No. 317 FISHERIES MANAGEMENT REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 4

4.1 Subregulation 10B (1) (definitions of "area of the South East
Fishery" and " Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995"): Omit the
definitions.

4.2 Subregulation 10B (1) (definition of "trawling"): Omit the definition,
substitute:

"'trawling' means fishing using any of the following types of fishing gear:

   (a)  mid-water trawl gear;

   (b)  demersal otter trawl gear;

   (c)  Danish seine trawl gear;

   (d)  beam trawl gear;

   (e)  pair trawl gear. [Note: The Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management
        Plan 1995 was made under section 17 of the Act and notified in Gazette
        No. S34 of 3 February 1995.]".

4.3 Paragraph 10B (2) (a): Omit the paragraph, substitute:

"(a) trawling in the South East Trawl Fishery; or".
