NATIONAL MEASUREMENT REGULATIONS 1999 1999 No. 110 1999 - REG 59
Application to vary approval of approved patterns
- (1)
- An approval holder may apply for variation of the pattern approved by an
approving authority by lodging:
- (a)
- a written application with the
authority; and
- (b)
- the certificate of approval of the pattern or a copy of the certificate;
and
- (c)
- detailed drawings and specifications showing the variation.
- (2)
- The approving authority may, by written notice given to the applicant,
require the applicant to lodge with the authority:
- (a)
- the whole or a part
of the pattern of a measuring instrument as proposed to be varied; and
- (b)
- the whole or a part of the measuring instrument constructed in accordance
with the pattern as proposed to be varied; and
- (c)
- any additional information that the authority needs to consider the
application properly.
- (3)
- The approving authority may refuse to proceed with the application until
the applicant complies with the notice.
