1991 No. 71 PATENTS REGULATIONS - REG 8.5
Convention countries
8.5 (1) Each of the countries specified in Schedule 4 is declared to be a
Convention country for the purposes of the definition of "Convention country"
in the Act.
(2) For the purposes of section 94 of the Act ("Convention applicants may make
Convention applications"), the period of 12 months from the day on which a
basic application is first made in a Convention country in respect of the
invention is prescribed.
