HEALTH PRACTITIONER REGULATION (NEW SOUTH WALES) REGULATION 2016 - REG 3
Definitions
(1) In this Regulation--
"medical corporation" means a corporation engaged in the provision of medical
services by medical practitioners.
"medical treatment or other medical service" includes any medical or surgical
treatment, service or procedure, including for diagnostic purposes.
"patient" means a person to whom health care treatment or other health
services are provided.
"professional services room" has the same meaning as it has in Schedule 5F to
the Law.
"the Law" means the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (NSW) . Note :
The Law and the Interpretation Act 1987 contain definitions and other
provisions that affect the interpretation and application of this Regulation.
(2) Notes included in this Regulation do not form part of this Regulation.
