Northern Territory Consolidated Acts Northern Territory Consolidated Acts(1) This section applies to a controlled person who is stated to be a member or former member of a declared organisation in a control order that is in force.
(2) The controlled person must not engage in conduct for the purpose of recruiting another person to become a member of the declared organisation.
Fault elements:
The person:
(a) intentionally engages in conduct; and
(b) intends that the other person become a member of the declared organisation.
Maximum penalty: Imprisonment for 5 years.
(3) In this section:
"recruiting" includes counselling, procuring, soliciting, inciting and inducing.
