196 Notice and taking effect of decision

(1) The valuer-general must give the protected person notice of the decision.

(2) If the decision is to cancel the suppression direction, the notice must be an information notice.

(3) A cancellation takes effect on the later of the following—

(a) the day the notice is given;

(b) a later day of effect stated in the notice.
