PROSTITUTION ACT 1999 - SECT 135
Non-compellability of health service providers
(1) A health service provider is entitled to refuse to give any document or
information, or answer any question, in relation to an investigation of, or
prosecution for, an offence against this Act on the ground that it would
disclose information gained in providing a health service.
(2) In this
section—
"health service" means— (a) a service genuinely provided to a person for the
benefit of human health; or
(b) a health service under the
Health Ombudsman Act 2013 .
"health service provider" means— (a) a health practitioner under the Health
Practitioner Regulation National Law (Queensland) ; or
(b) another person who
provides a health service; or
(c) an employee of a person mentioned in
paragraph (a) or (b) .
