Notice of proposed change of park rule
229 Notice of proposed change of park rule
(1) If the owner of a moveable dwelling park proposes to change a park rule,
the owner must— (a) fix a day (the
"objection closing day" ) by which residents of the park may object to the
proposed change (the
"proposal" ); and
(b) give notice of the proposal to each resident and any
person who becomes a resident before the objection closing day.
(2) A notice
must be given— (a) for a resident—at least 1 month before the
objection closing day; or
(b) for someone else—when the person becomes a
resident.
(3) The notice must— (a) be in writing; and
(b) inform the
resident that the resident may object to the proposal before the
objection closing day; and
(c) inform the resident how the objection may be
made.
