ELECTRICAL SAFETY REGULATION 2013 - REG 246
Further tests during operation of system
246 Further tests during operation of system
(1) The owner of a relevant system must perform interference tests on all
foreign structures for the system— (a) when an anode forming part of the
system is replaced; and
(b) when the system or its method of operation is
changed.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
(2) In this
section—
"relevant system" means— (a) a cathodic protection system, other than a
registered system, that is an impressed current cathodic protection system; or
(b) a cathodic protection system with a total anode mass of more than 25kg.
