109 Instruments for measuring stationary noise levels—Act, s 123S

(1) A sound level meter complying with the National Stationary Exhaust Noise Test Procedures is declared to be an instrument for section 123S (1) of the Act , definition
"instrument" .

(2) For section 123S (2) of the Act , for a certificate for an instrument mentioned in subsection (1) , if the specified day stated in the certificate is a day on which the instrument is calibrated, the period prescribed is 12 months.

(3) In this section—

"National Stationary Exhaust Noise Test Procedures" means the document titled ‘National Stationary Exhaust Noise Test Procedures for In-Service Motor Vehicles’ published on the National Transport Commission’s website.
