(1) The chief executive may from time to time fix—
(a) the remuneration packages for health executives; and
(b) the classification levels at which they are to be employed; and
(c) the terms and conditions of their contracts.
(2) In exercising the chief executive's powers under subsection (1), the chief executive may have regard to—
(a) the remuneration packages and classification levels for public sector employees employed in Queensland or other States; and
(b) the remuneration arrangements for similar private sector employees employed in Queensland.
